Tuesday evenings between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. those who are experiencing the pain of loss either through death, divorce or separation are invited to come together and visit over a cup of coffee.
Coffee and conversation is not a coping group. Each person who attends finds an opportunity to just sit and share what is going on during the week. Different from the WDC General Meeting where the program is set, Coffee and Conversation provides a relaxed atmosphere where conversations range from what each did for the last holiday to the sharing of ideas and plans on what we look forward to next week. We listen, share, laugh and cry over the cup of coffee.
Join us on the 1st Tuesday of the month at Peony Park's HyVee in the dining area. On the 2nd Tuesday of the month, those that want to meet after the monthly general meeting, we will head over to the Village Inn on 3333 North 90th for a cup of coffee.
