We encourage those who are traveling through a difficult time in their life to come and enjoy themselves at the WDS activities. There are many people who have traveled the same road you may have traveled. We meet to share our triumphs and our losses, our good days and bad including laughter, tears and joys.
Social
WDS offers a variety of regularly scheduled social activities as well as seasonal events. Come join the fun.
Each month there is a General Meeting where we come together to socialize and listen to a speaker. Topics are: Motivational, Financial/Legal Issues, Health/Nutrition and much more.

Fun Night a pot luck and game night is held the fourth Friday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Columbkille's Steinhausen Center in Papillion. There are themed parties celebrating Chinese New Year's and Cinco de Mayo and just plain fun including but not limited to, indoor picnics, Bunco, Dominos and board game night. Spiritual
Prayer Line: It is a joy to know our prayers are answered and what seems like miracles are still possible. If you have prayer request please submit it to our prayer line coordinator at annkoch@msn.com. An email will be sent to all who have volunteered to pray for others. Each day we have people praying for special intentions.
Every month there is a home Mass offered in someone's home or other facility. A priest from the local area celebrates the Mass, following the Mass there is a pot luck dinner. People of any faith are welcome. Click the Calendar of Events for location and contact person.
During the Lenten season a Healing Service is part of the General Meeting. We gather together to listen, pray and meditate about our surroundings, home life, loss and ask for forgiveness.
